My Time.jpg

MY TIME is a story about a woman named Ana who’s going through a divorce. She’s been married for twenty years to Daniel, and has two adult children. It’s a recount of her journey through different emotions trying to overcome the pain and hurt that she’s feeling from the betrayal of her husband.

It’s a look into one woman’s struggle to find a way to navigate through a world crumbling around her and how she can find the strength to re-find and empower herself. Ana tells her story and shows you how she handles the seven stages of grief; shock, denial, pain, guilt, anger, bargaining, depression and reflection. The upward turn, reconstruction, and working through acceptance and hope. Ana proves that everyone goes through this grief process, but not always how psychology dictates.

I can’t sleep. I can’t eat. All I do is grieve and fear, and sweat, drink coffee, smoke, exercise, drink, and cry. I feel like a squirrel trapped in a cage. It’s not even the drugs, the gambling, the women, it’s his chronic case of asshole-ness I can’t take anymore. I’m dying. And someone is going to die for real if I don’t get us out of here. It’s like living with a loaded gun in the house...
